According to legend, back in the distant year of 1380, to celebrate the arrival of a queen, local monks lavishly decorated their monastery with flowers that grew on the island. Later, with the help of an alchemist, they created the first perfumes based on these flowers. Many centuries later, in 1948, a new head of the monastery found the formula of the ancient perfume and attempted to recreate it.
