Semi-permanent hair dyes are the perfect choice for those who have decided to adjust or change their hair color for the first time. These are simple, harmless, ready-to-use products that gradually wash out with shampoo and completely disappear after 6-12 washes. This type of dye does not contain ammonia or hydrogen peroxide - substances often found in hair dyes.
Directions is a temporary hair dye from La Riche with a creamy texture and no need to mix components - it's completely ready for use, safe for the hair, and lasts from 2 to 4 weeks. The dye washes out gradually, fading faster on damaged, brittle, porous hair.
This semi-permanent hair dye enhances and intensifies the natural color, making it much more vibrant and brighter without lightening the hair, and also provides a conditioning effect.
ATTENTION! For the brightest color, hair must be pre-lightened as much as possible. On naturally light hair, the dye may only provide a slight tint, and it will not have any effect on unbleached black hair. The use of balms and conditioners can interfere with the dye's fixation, resulting in a less intense color. To maintain the color for longer, add a small amount of dye to your shampoo. The use of anti-dandruff shampoos, medicinal shampoos, etc., is not recommended.
1. Before dyeing, wash your hair with a balanced pH shampoo and towel dry. Do not use balms, rinses, or hair lotions for 24 hours before dyeing.
2. Transfer the necessary amount of dye into a plastic container. Half the content is sufficient for short hair, while long hair will require the entire jar.
3. When dyeing, use protective gloves (preferably those that fit snugly to your hands, rather than the loose gloves often included with dyes). To avoid staining your face and ears, apply petroleum jelly or baby oil, making sure it does not get on your hair, as this will prevent proper dyeing. For more even application, it's advisable to use a special brush.
4. Apply the dye to your hair 3-4 cm away from the scalp and spread evenly to the tips. Start coloring from the nape, ensuring the hair is evenly saturated with the dye.
5. After applying, comb your hair thoroughly until the dye foams, indicating that the hair has fully absorbed the coloring substances. Lighter shades may require more combing.
6. Leave the dye in your hair for 30-60 minutes or longer, depending on the desired intensity of the color. These dyes do not contain ammonia, so they won't damage your hair! Note that lighter shades require more exposure time. Using a climazon can reduce processing time to 15-30 minutes and may result in a brighter and more durable color.
7. Rinse your hair under running water, avoiding getting strands on your face and in your eyes. To better fix the color, rinse your hair with a vinegar solution (mix equal parts of white vinegar and water, apply to your hair and comb through, leave the mixture on your hair for 1-2 minutes, then rinse under running water).
8. Dry your hair.
