Apricot oil, more precisely hydrogenated apricot oil, is a cosmetic raw material of 100% plant origin. It possesses the same properties as unrefined oil from apricot kernels. At 20 °C, it has the consistency of soft butter with a heterogeneous structure, and small lumps can be felt (which become more uniform after melting in a water bath).
The oil is highly moisturizing, and the vitamins A and E contained within it have strong antioxidant, restorative, and soothing properties. It is quickly absorbed and slows down the natural aging process of the skin.
