Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Always wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are various folding methods - try different ones and choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Upon insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it is correctly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval after insertion. If you feel any indentations, it means the cup has not fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it's in place, give the stem a slight tug; if you feel resistance, the suction is established and the cup is correctly positioned!
