Before first use, sterilize the cup by boiling it in water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods you can try to find the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once inserted, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it is correctly positioned. If unsure, feel the bottom of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you detect dents or indentations, the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
