Pro-Retinol Esent

Retinyl Palmitate (Pro-Retinol) is the most gently acting form of Vitamin A used in cosmetics. Thanks to its complex ester form, Vitamin A can be used even on very sensitive skin. Pro-retinol, under the action of enzymes present in the skin, is converted into retinol - the primary form of Vitamin A.

Vitamin A is responsible for many physiological processes in the skin, regenerating the epidermis, strengthening collagen fibers, eliminating discoloration, improving skin tone, and making it smooth.
The main role of pro-retinol with daily use is to provide the skin with the necessary dose of Vitamin A (nourishing the skin). Vitamin A present in our skin is broken down daily by sunlight, and its replenishment through diet alone takes a significant amount of time (an hour of sunbathing requires a week of recovery, even with a Vitamin A-rich diet). Therefore, it is recommended to use vitamin supplements, especially during the spring-summer period when the skin is exposed to increased UV rays.
With sporadic use, pro-retinol acts only on the outer layers of the epidermis, reducing its roughness and dryness (recommended for caring for dry and rough elbows and knees).
With systematic use, it begins to penetrate the dermis and works within it - strengthening and adding elasticity, which leads to the smoothing of fine lines.
