Introducing the "Active Cavity Protection" specialized toothpaste. Owing to its high level of abrasiveness, this paste perfectly removes plaque, especially in cases of halitosis*.
Despite its high abrasiveness level (113), the paste is completely safe for enamel, as it contains microRepair® particles. These particles instantly integrate into the tooth enamel, repairing it and thus neutralizing the effect of high abrasiveness. As a result, the paste not only effectively cleans plaque but also prevents its formation thanks to its intensive antibacterial function, and it restores enamel.
The toothpaste is also recommended for smokers and frequent consumers of staining beverages (e.g., coffee).
*Halitosis - a symptom of certain human (or animal) digestive system diseases characterized by an intense growth of bacteria in the oral cavity and, consequently, the presence of a large amount of plaque and unpleasant breath.
The Biorepair®Scudo Attivo formula is specifically designed to combat the acids from sugars and cariogenic bacteria.
Biorepair® toothpaste contains microRepair® particles, which include zinc ions (Zn). Thanks to their needle-like shape (identical to the natural form of enamel hydroxyapatite), microRepair® particles adhere to the enamel and remain on the surface for 24 hours. When the pH level in the oral cavity drops (for example, during sleep), the microRepair® crystals break down into calcium, phosphates, and zinc.
Calcium and phosphates react and restore the tooth enamel, zinc ions are released and affect the bacterial environment, suppressing its reproduction and thus preventing plaque formation. As a result, the pH acidity level is restored, teeth are protected from bacteria and cavities, maintaining fresh breath.
The composition includes Zn(PCA)**, which suppresses the growth and activity of bacteria, the main cause of plaque and, consequently, cavities.
**Zn(PCA) - zinc salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid.
The toothpaste also contains xylitol, which counters Streptococcus Mutants bacteria, whose activity leads to the demineralization and destruction of enamel.
