The Konjac Sponge is of natural origin and is 100% biodegradable. Made from the root of the Konjac plant, which grows wild in Asia, it has been used in Japanese medicine for hundreds of years thanks to its healing and nourishing properties. The plant contains a unique type of fiber – glucomannan – capable of absorbing water up to 100 times its weight, much more than grain fibers.
