Salicylic-Azelaic Peeling 'Antiacne' Cocos

Exfoliating dead skin particles helps maintain a youthful appearance of the skin and improve its overall condition. The Salicylic-Azelaic Acid Peel "Anti-Acne" from the Ukrainian brand Cocos is specially designed for the care of problematic skin. Thanks to the combination of active ingredients, it has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, brightening, and healing effect, fights breakouts, reduces the visibility of post-acne scars, and gives the skin a healthy and radiant look.

The product effectively cleanses from various impurities and dead cells, stimulates the processes of recovery and renewal, smooths the texture of the skin, refines the microrelief of the face, and improves its tone. The complex of salicylic and azelaic acids normalizes the function of the sebaceous glands and regulates their secretion, eliminates excessive oiliness of the epidermis, narrows pores, lightens scars and whitens pigmentation spots, prevents the formation of new acne foci, suppresses the development of pathogenic microorganisms, and reduces redness. It is recommended for use in cases of rosacea, folliculitis, seborrheic dermatitis, and the presence of comedones.

How to use: Before starting a course of peels, it is recommended to use either the Cocos Pre-Peel Skin Preparation Lotion, which adapts the epidermis to the action of acids, or apply the Night Cream with AHA acids and vitamin A for 7-14 days. Immediately before performing the procedure for the best effect, it is also necessary to cleanse and degrease the skin surface with the specified pre-peel preparation lotion. Then, a small amount of the solution for the salicylic-azelaic peel can be distributed in circular motions on the forehead, temples, chin, cheeks, and nose. A burning sensation is typical during the peeling process as the product is applied. The appearance of characteristic white "frosting" indicates the crystallization process of salicylic acid, which is normal. The exposure time of the peel on the skin is up to 20 minutes, depending on the sequential number of the procedure when conducting a course, as well as the skin type. After the exposure time, it is necessary to thoroughly wash with water (no neutralizer is needed). The peel is recommended to be washed off earlier in case of discomfort. To prevent skin dryness, potentially associated with the use of the salicylic-azelaic peel, it is recommended to use moisturizing products. A comprehensive approach also implies post-peel care, which includes the application of the Natural Lamellar Cream for skin care after peeling immediately after the procedure and during the rehabilitation period at night. This cream is developed specifically taking into account the needs of the skin after peeling: its action is aimed at creating an occlusion on the skin surface, reducing transepidermal water loss, and soothing irritated skin.

Precautions when using!

During the course of peels and afterwards, regardless of the season and weather, the skin must be protected during the day with a high-protection sunscreen (SPF 30 - SPF 50).

Contraindications for the Salicylic-Azelaic Acid Peel Anti-Acne by Cocos include:
- pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- herpes in the acute stage;
- impaired integrity of the skin area being treated.

In case of individual intolerance to any of the components of the Salicylic-Azelaic Acid Peel Anti-Acne and the occurrence of an allergic reaction, discontinue use and thoroughly rinse the application area with running water.
