Slider design represents an incredibly lightweight method of applying complex photographic designs to nails. A slider design is a thin, elastic film with an image, applied to paper (the paper is for convenience of storage and transport).
This method of nail decoration is very simple, yet the effect is truly unique. Thanks to a vast variety of colors and patterns, creating diverse nail arts with slider design can be done effortlessly. With proper application, such designs are quite durable.
Application method: apply a base coat to the prepared nail plate. Cure under a lamp.
Apply the colored coating in the necessary number of layers (preferably of light shades). Cure under a lamp.
Apply a thin layer of top coat with a tacky layer on the color, cure, do not remove the tacky layer. Cut out the desired picture from the set. Try to leave as much transparent film around the perimeter as possible (not right up to the object cut out), this is to ensure greater adhesion area with the nail plate. Dip it in warm water for 5-10 seconds, the film will become movable. Pat dry any excess moisture with a tissue, to ensure there is no water left on the film. Carefully slide the image off the paper base. Place the image on the tacky layer of the top coat, positioning it as desired. Smooth out any irregularities with a tissue, and gently press down.If there are excess pieces of film, they can be trimmed with scissors, and any excess at the free edge can be removed with a nail file. With a thin brush, apply the top coat around the object to create borders. Cure. If it's a 3D stone (with a foil oval), then with the top coat, base, or structural gel (whichever is thicker) create a voluminous drop on the foiled part, curing a bit longer than usual.
Cover with a finishing layer of the top coat thinly across the entire nail and cure again, if the top coat has a tacky layer, remove it using a cleanser.
