To extract thyme essential oil, dried plants are distilled with steam. This process maximally preserves its beneficial properties. It is used internally and externally, as well as for room aromatization. In the former case, it stimulates capillary circulation, tones the nervous system, improves gastrointestinal tract function, and relieves spasms.
Thyme essential oil is effective for skin care, eliminating itching and destroying parasites, fighting dermatitis, furunculosis, and purulent lesions. It provides antiseptic, bactericidal, and healing effects. It eases the condition in cases of spasmodic cough, asthma, tuberculosis, and pulmonary diseases. It helps with rheumatism and in cases of hypothermia.

How to use: Thyme essential oil can be used in its pure form or in combination with other essential oils - complementary aromas.

Skin care:

Enriching cosmetic products: 5 drops of oil (oil compositions) per 15 g of base (1-2 tablespoons).

Aromatic shower: 5 drops per 1 liter of water.

Massage: mix 4 drops of oil (oil compositions) with 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Baths: mix 3-8 drops of oil with 30-60 g of emulsifier (salt, soda, honey, bath foam, cream, bran, etc.) and add to a filled bathtub.

Rubbing: 6 drops per 15g of base oil.

Mouth rinsing: 4 drops of lemon, 2 drops each of thyme, mint, geranium add 1 teaspoon of brandy. Add 1 teaspoon of the mixture to 1 glass of warm water.

Inhalations and room aromatization:

Aroma burners: 3-5 drops of oil for every 15 sq.m. of room area added to an aroma lamp filled with water and light a candle;

Aroma medallions 2-3 drops.

Sensations: when applied to the skin - a slight burning sensation for 3-5 minutes. During inhalations - a slight irritation in the eyes for 1-2 minutes. The reaction is natural.

Contraindications: do not use during pregnancy, with hypertension, and epilepsy. Individual intolerance.
