Comme Des Garcons Series 3: Ouarzazate Eau de Toilette

Series 3: Incense - a luxurious collection of five fragrances united by the notes of the mysterious frankincense. It was created by perfumers of the Japanese fashion house Comme des Garçons in 2002.

The scent Ouarzazate was developed by the British perfumery master Mark Buxton. His inspiration for creating this amazing composition came from Moroccan culture, an integral part of which is frankincense. In the Middle Ages, the city of Ouarzazate in the south of Morocco was a major transit point on the trade route from Africa to Europe and the countries of the Arabian Peninsula. More than 3000 tons of frankincense were transported through Ouarzazate annually. Today, the use of frankincense in Morocco is more than a religious ritual; it is an integral part of the modern everyday life of every individual.

At the heart of the Ouarzazate composition are the mysterious notes of smoky frankincense, highlighted by invigorating herbal chords of clary sage and green tea extract combined with a spicy pepper mix. The composition is completed by soft woody chords with a light vanilla hue.
