Dior introduces a new Micellar Water, composed of 98% naturally-derived ingredients, that not only removes makeup, leaving the skin perfectly clean, but also hydrates it and eliminates any feeling of discomfort.
— OFF = gently removes makeup and cleanses the skin of all types of impurities.
— ON = hydrates, maintains the natural pH level, and strengthens the skin barrier.
The formula of this Dior micellar water combines the cleansing properties of French Water Lily, hyaluronic acid, cornflower floral water, and saponins. It cleanses pores and leaves the skin perfectly clean, while also strengthening its barrier.
Use this product daily, morning and evening, alone or before using the OFF/ON Cleansing Mousse for the face.
The Water Lily from the Aquitaine region in France grows in Dior's exceptional garden.
The cleansing Water Lily added to the micellar water formula is known for its ability to purify the environment. The key to this cleansing property is the chelation phenomenon, which involves trapping and holding impurities, such as heavy metals, to prevent their spread in water. The cleansing Water Lily contained in the micellar water purifies* the skin.
The cleansing Water Lily comes from the Latour-Marliac garden, a legendary home of water lilies since 1875.
In 1889, Joseph Bory Latour-Marliac went to Paris for the World Exhibition, where Claude Monet was also present. The famous impressionist artist ordered water lilies for the occasion, thus making Latour-Marliac his official supplier.
The new Dior garden, located in Temple-sur-Loire, where French water lilies first appeared, ensures traceability, cultivation method, and widespread distribution of French water lilies. To refine the harvesting process and further enhance its positive impact on local biodiversity, the House of Dior and the Latour-Marliac team have implemented an unprecedented system of regenerative cultivation for the nursery. The rhizome of each plant selected for Dior is cut in half to preserve a part, whose shoot is immediately replanted. The philosophy shared by all Dior gardens is that nature remains an inexhaustible source of inspiration and creativity.
