To begin, you need to degrease your eyelids to ensure the eyelashes stick properly. Use makeup remover to cleanse your eyes. The lashes might be too wide for your eyes, so you should try them on first. Use tweezers to hold the lashes and place them as close to the base of your natural lashes as possible. Trim them if they are too wide or much longer than your natural lashes. Squeeze a small strip of glue onto your palm and drag the lash strip through it. Wait a few seconds for the glue to thicken. Hold the lashes in the middle with tweezers and place them close to the base of your natural lashes. Start pressing the false eyelashes from the outer corner of the eye to the inner corner, holding the ends with your fingers. Use a toothpick to press along the base for better adhesion. Use eyeliner or a black pencil to draw along the upper eyelid at the base of your lashes, slightly extending beyond the movable eyelid. This technique helps to conceal minor imperfections (glue residue).
