Retinal is a much gentler form of classic retinol, yet it offers the same benefits for your skin. By encapsulating it for stable and gradual penetration into the deeper layers of the skin, you get Ovium's Retinal 0.02%. This cream is suitable for use on the face, neck, and décolleté, providing gentle action and high effectiveness. It noticeably smooths, lightly brightens the skin, and reduces the appearance of imperfections and uneven skin tone. Apply a small amount of the product (pea-sized for the face, and the same amount for the neck and décolleté) to clean, dry skin in the evening, avoiding the eye and lip areas. During retinal treatment, it is essential to use a high SPF 50+ sunscreen daily.
To allow your skin to adjust to retinal, introduce it gradually: for the first two weeks, apply the retinal twice a week. For the next two weeks, increase the frequency to three times a week. Continue to increase the frequency every two weeks. Once your skin becomes accustomed, you can apply the retinal every evening.
If you experience excessive dryness, peeling, redness, or a tight feeling while using the cream, stop using it for a few days, then resume. These symptoms may occur during the first few weeks of retinal application.
