  • If you suffer from general fatigue, pale skin, headaches, brittle hair and nails, as well as breathing issues, this test will reveal if low ferritin levels might be affecting your overall well-being.

    Identifying low ferritin levels is extremely important as it may indicate iron deficiency and potential anemia. A positive result indicates a sufficient level of ferritin in the blood (above 30 ng/mL), while a negative result indicates a deficiency (below 30 ng/mL). Don't delay; diagnose anemia with the ferritin test in just 10 minutes.

    Indications for taking the test:
    - chronic fatigue;
    - shortness of breath;
    - heavy menstrual periods;
    - headaches;
    - concentration problems;
    - weakened hair and nails: brittleness, loss, splitting;
    - cold feet or hands regardless of the ambient temperature.

    Anemia is a reduction in hemoglobin levels and/or red blood cell count below the normal range for the respective gender and age. Among the various forms of anemia, iron deficiency anemia is the most common, affecting up to 30% of the population. Insufficient iron levels can result from various causes such as poor diet, vegetarianism, malnutrition, absorption disorders (e.g., due to low stomach acidity), increased demand (during pregnancy, lactation), prolonged blood loss, or disorders related to insufficient iron transport proteins. A decrease in ferritin levels in the body indicates iron deficiency, which is a key element in diagnosing anemia, monitoring patients taking iron supplements, and detecting liver diseases and cancer. Ferritin level testing is particularly recommended for people at risk, such as athletes, children, pregnant women, the elderly, vegans, and those with absorption issues.
