In 1979, Hermes introduced the exquisite cologne Eau d'Orange Verte (originally named d'Hermes, with the new name Eau d'Orange Verte appearing in 1997). It was crafted by the renowned perfumer Francois Caron. The unmatched composition features notes of orange, lemon, mandarin, mint, jasmine, patchouli, and oakmoss. The fragrance opens with citrusy chords, gradually transitioning to the freshness of herbal greenery.
The scent of Eau d'Orange Verte is invigorating; it is fresh, clean, and unobtrusive. The wearer of this cologne is undoubtedly grounded, goal-oriented, values their time, and knows what they want. Interestingly, although the fragrance is categorized as masculine, it has been observed to be very appealing to women as well.
TESTER - A tester is a demonstration version of the fragrance that manufacturers include with a batch of products for promotional purposes at the point of sale. Please note that there are no differences (in terms of fragrance quality, longevity, etc.) between the tester and the retail version! The only difference is that since testers are produced for promotional reasons, the manufacturer does not package them as carefully: they are offered in what is known as technical packaging (a simple cardboard box distinct from the one used for retail bottles) and often do not include a cap. This is why testers are priced lower.
