Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Eau de Parfum

The Italian duo Dolce & Gabbana, drawing their endless inspiration from the Mediterranean island of Sicily, introduces a new original women's fragrance named Dolce.

The name Dolce, of course, coincides with the surname of one of the designers in the creative duo, but besides that, in Italian, the word means "sweet." It is no surprise, then, that Dolce is a soft, slightly sweet fragrance aimed at women who are fond of sensual floral compositions, modern, yet with vintage accents. This can also be inferred from the bottle, which is designed in a retro style, crowned with a flower cap, and adorned with a black grosgrain ribbon.

The scent itself is more fresh than sweet. It begins with notes of neroli and papaya flower, transitioning into amaryllis (a flower whose full bloom aroma is recreated here using Headspace Technology). This is followed by accords of white water lily and white narcissus. The base, a combination of musks, including cashmeran, and sandalwood, completes the image, highlighting the purity of the white flowers.
