Fahrenheit Le Parfum by Christian Dior was launched in early January 2014, offering the characteristic harmony of contrasts for which this line is known. The fragrance was created by Dior's in-house perfumer Francois Demachy, who highlighted the oriental-spicy aspect of the composition and stated that this new creation is not a caricature of the classic Fahrenheit fragrance, but an original, harmonious structure of notes that supports the story and the unique personality of the perfume. For the composition of Fahrenheit Le Parfum, natural, rare components were used, which emphasize the sensual heat of hot leather and dance in shades of oriental rhythm.
The fragrance opens with the most powerful note of soft suede, complemented by undertones of licorice root and Sicilian mandarin. The heart of the composition provides a new sound, mixing violet leaf absolute and rum with the spiciness of coriander and Roman cumin. The base note features Bourbon vanilla, which highlights the beauty of the other ingredients, ensures the stability of the fragrance, and warmly caresses the skin.
