Cream Base Davines A New Colour Cream Base

The cream base is the key product of the new A NEW COLOUR dyeing system. Indeed, it allows achieving the same results traditionally only obtainable with ammonia-based dyes, but with A NEW COLOUR – without the use of ammonia.

The main active ingredient of the cream base is sodium metasilicate, an alkaline component of natural origin, derived from quartz crystals. It is characterized by a high light refraction index, significantly stronger than that of a diamond, which gives hair a stunning shine. Due to its glass-like texture, it is sometimes referred to as "liquid glass." Sodium metasilicate is water-soluble, since it is derived from biological raw materials, and is biodegradable. It acts in synergy with MEA, creating the alkaline environment necessary for the penetration of color pigments inside the hair. It is precisely because of the inclusion of metasilicate in the A NEW COLOUR system that this dye provides such vibrant results, similar to those of ammonia-based dyes. At the same time, the ammonia-free system of A NEW COLOUR does not damage the hair's structure. The cream base also includes vitamin C, well known for its antioxidant properties. It works in synergy with carotenoids and melanin contained in the cream dye, to create a mixture with a pronounced anti-radical action.

Vegetable petroleum jelly - a completely natural substance, obtained from castor oil and carnauba wax. Castor oil, known since ancient times for its softening and protective properties, prevents hair breakage and the formation of split ends. Carnauba wax adds shine and has an antioxidant effect. It adds shine to hair, moisturizes, and conditions.
