TESTER - A tester is a demonstration version of the fragrance provided by manufacturers with a batch of products for promotional purposes at the point of sale. Please note that there are no differences (in terms of fragrance quality, durability, etc.) between a tester and the retail version! The only difference is that since testers are produced for advertising purposes, the manufacturer does not pay as much attention to their packaging: they are offered in what is called technical packaging (a simple cardboard box different from the one used for retail bottles) and often do not come with a cap.
