Guerlain Homme Intense Eau de Parfum

One year after the successful presentation of Guerlain Homme, the House of Guerlain launched an enhanced version of the widely beloved perfume. The updated fragrance became richer, more vibrant, and more powerful than its predecessor, although its composition of notes remained almost unchanged.

The composition starts with rather sharp accords of spearmint and rhubarb, which are advantageously highlighted and softened by an increased dose of rum combined with floral notes of geranium. The final accord features woody aromas of Egyptian vetiver, patchouli leaves, and Virginian cedar.

The rectangular bottle, made of heavy, solid glass, has an attractive shape and, with its color scheme (dark bottle and transparent cap), embodies the contradictory nature of the perfume, blending harsh sharpness with mysterious sweetness.
