The latest release from the American fragrance brand Bond No 9, named Astor Place, debuted on April 1, 2009. It is the 34th fragrance created by the incomparable Laurice Rahme for the perfume house, in honor of her beloved and magnificent city of New York. The fragrance's creator, Laurent Le Guernec, was deeply inspired by the rich history of New York's neighborhoods, streets, and even individual buildings. Astor Place - the westernmost edge of the East Village, where in 1967, at the corner of Lafayette Street and Fourth Avenue, sculptor Tony Rosenthal erected a rotating black cube known as "Alamo," considered a symbol of free art.
The fresh and intoxicating Astor Place is the quintessential scent of spring in the big city. It is a breath of fresh spring air, bringing warmth after a long and gray winter. Light, fresh, and warm, it is designed to give its wearers a sense of joy and exhilarating happiness. Its unobtrusive, universal appeal is equally well-received by reserved men and enchanting women alike.
The delicate floral composition begins with notes of mandarin and violet, continues with "heart" notes of iris, poppy, and white freesia, and concludes with a blend of amber, musk, and teakwood. Bond No 9 Astor Place is perfectly suited for daily use.
TESTER (Tester) is a demonstration version of the fragrance provided by manufacturers with a batch of goods for promotional purposes at the point of sale. Please note that there are no differences (quality of the fragrance, durability, etc.) between testers and the retail version! The only difference is that since testers are produced for promotional reasons, the manufacturing company does not pay as much attention to their packaging: they are offered in so-called technical packaging (a simple cardboard box, different from the one used for retail bottles) and often do not come with a cap. This significantly lowers the price of testers.Release Date: 2009
