Olympea - an exhilarating and vibrant Oriental-woody women's fragrance, launched in 2015 by the renowned Spanish fashion brand Paco Rabanne. Named after the mythical "Olympia," this fragrance serves as the aromatic counterpart to the popular men's fragrance "Invictus," released in 2013. Both scents are inspired by the sporting spirit of competition and victory. Even their bottles speak of triumph in athletic contests - the men's fragrance bottle resembles a trophy, while the women's is shaped like a pink laurel wreath.
The fragrance strikes a balance between myth and reality, crafting the image of a modern Cleopatra. Perfumers Loc Dong and Anne Flipo initiated their fragrance with a luxurious burst of refreshing marine notes. At the heart of the scent, amidst the coolness of slightly salted water, float the bittersweet white petals of jasmine, while delicate, sweet vanilla envelops the perfume's heart in a light, golden haze. The composition concludes with sultry creamy-spicy notes of sandalwood and refined, regal amber, weaving together into a luxurious aromatic cloak.
TESTER - A tester is a demonstration version of the fragrance provided by manufacturers with a batch of products for advertising purposes at the point of sale. Please note that there are no differences (such as the quality of the fragrance, longevity, etc.) between a tester and the retail version! The only difference is that since testers are produced for advertising purposes, the manufacturer may not package them as carefully: they are offered in what is called technical packaging (a plain cardboard box, different from the one used for retail bottles) and often do not come with a cap. This is why testers are priced lower.
