TESTER - A tester is a demonstration version of the fragrance provided by manufacturers with a batch of products for the purpose of advertising at the point of sale. Please note that there are no differences (such as the quality of the fragrance, durability, etc.) between a tester and the retail version! The difference lies only in the fact that since testers are produced for advertising purposes, the manufacturing company does not pay as much attention to their packaging: they are offered in what is called technical packaging (a simple cardboard box different from the one used for retail bottles) and often do not come with a cap. This accounts for the lower price of testers.
