TESTER - A tester is a demonstration version of the fragrance provided by manufacturers with a batch of products for the purpose of advertising at the point of sale. The only difference is that since testers are produced for advertising purposes, the manufacturing company does not pay as much attention to their packaging: they are offered in so-called technical packaging (a simple cardboard box different from the one used for retail bottles) and often do not come with a cap. This results in the lower price of testers.
