In 2017, the renowned French brand Yves Saint Laurent launched its second fragrance named Y, this time targeting men. Y Men is an enigmatic, fougère scent with subtle fruity nuances, complex in character. Despite appearing simple, ordinary, and unremarkable at first glance, it's akin to making superficial judgments about a person upon first meeting. To truly understand and embrace Y Men, one must wear it and experience each note—discovering what lies hidden from the casual observer's view. Y Men embodies pure mountain air and blue skies, freshness and freedom, strength of character and masculinity, love and charisma—a depth not visible on the surface.
Top notes feature an amazing play of white aldehydes with sparks of bergamot, the sharpness of ginger with the coolness of mint, and the refreshing energy of lemon.
Middle notes offer contrasting swirls between the sweet exoticism of pineapple and the bitterness of geranium, the refinement of violet, and the invigorating coolness of sage.
Base notes unfold into a luxurious, multifaceted trail where the scent of vetiver mingles, resinous nuances of cedar and sharp hints of fir balsam can be detected, enveloped by the sweet smoke of incense, the warmth of gray amber, and musk.
TESTER - A tester is a demonstration version of the fragrance provided by manufacturers along with a batch of products for promotional purposes at the point of sale. Please note that there are no differences (such as the quality of the fragrance, its lasting power, etc.) between the tester and the retail version! The only distinction is that since testers are produced for advertising purposes, the manufacturer does not pay as much attention to their packaging: they are offered in so-called technical packaging (a plain cardboard box different from the retail bottles) and often do not include a cap. This accounts for the lower price of testers.
