One of the most valuable natural oils in cosmetology is avocado oil. Seeing this ingredient in the composition of a cosmetic product, you can be sure that it will provide maximum beneficial care for the skin of the face and body, as well as for the hair. The composition of avocado oil is extremely rich in trace elements and vitamins, which provide nourishing and moisturizing effects, thereby protecting the beauty, health, and youthfulness of hair and skin. It absorbs excellently and leaves no greasy residue.
Natural avocado oil is the best way to care for aging skin, to restore elasticity and firmness, bring back smoothness, and a healthy complexion. It effectively combats dryness, flakiness, redness, and inflammation, offering protection from the harmful effects of environmental factors and free radicals.
Avocado oil is used in the manufacture of medical drugs for treating eczema, arthrosis, scleroderma, as well as for oral care—treating periodontosis and bleeding gums.
Applications for wrinkles on the neck, face, and around the eyes. Add 1–2 drops of lime, neroli, sandalwood, or rose essential oils to 1 tablespoon of avocado oil. Apply an aroma-infused cloth to problem areas for 15–30 minutes 1–2 times a day.
Aromatherapy massage for skin coarsening and cellulite is conducted with an aroma blend consisting of 1–2 tablespoons of base avocado oil and 2–3 drops of lemon essential oil. For cellulite aromatherapy massage, the effective sequential use of blend № 1 and № 2 is recommended.
Blend № 1: to 50 ml of fatty base, add 6 drops each of geranium, juniper, lemon, and fennel essential oils. As the fatty base, it is best to use a mixture of equal amounts of avocado, grape seed, almond, and peach oils.
Blend № 2: to 50 ml of fatty base, add 6 drops each of lavender, patchouli, rosemary essential oils, and 4 drops of cypress essential oil. For one month, conduct daily massages using blend № 1. After a four-day break, the same course is conducted with blend № 2.
During the course of therapeutic massage, it is advisable to take baths with juniper essential oil twice a week, rubbing the cellulite-affected areas with a rough brush or loofah.
Massage for strengthening nails. For brittle and splitting nails, massage the nail plate and cuticle daily for 15–20 minutes with an aroma blend consisting of 1 tablespoon of fatty avocado oil and 2–3 drops of lemon or ylang-ylang essential oil. The course lasts 12–14 days.
Enriching shampoo to give hair shine and eliminate brittleness, dryness, and split ends. To 100 ml of shampoo, intended for dry and normal hair, add 10 drops of avocado oil. Additionally, you can add 3–5 drops of essential oils of orange and ylang-ylang or mandarin and sandalwood. Use the avocado oil-enriched shampoo regularly for washing hair.
Applications for gums. To 1 tablespoon of avocado oil, add 2–3 drops of tea tree essential oil. Apply tampons soaked in the aroma blend to the affected areas 1–2 times a day. The duration of the procedure is 15–20 minutes, with a course of 12–14 days.
