TESTER - A tester is a demonstration version of the fragrance provided by manufacturers with a batch of products for the purpose of advertising at the point of sale. Please note that there are no differences (such as fragrance quality, durability, etc.) between the tester and the retail version! The only difference is that since testers are produced for advertising purposes, the manufacturer does not invest as much care into their packaging: they are offered in what is known as technical packaging (a plain cardboard box, different from the one used for retail bottles) and often do not come with a cap.
