Cold-pressed tangerine peel yields high-quality essential oil that acts as an aromatic adaptogen and a natural source of vitamins. Its fragrance helps to relieve irritability, heavy thoughts, insomnia, and stress, and uplifts the mood.
Tangerine essential oil can be used on its own or blended with other essential oils. It is particularly effective for anti-cellulite massage, weight loss, and firming body contours. It optimizes blood circulation and normalizes digestion, combating fermentation and decay processes in the intestines. It is ideal for regular care of sensitive, irritated, and aging skin, strengthening the skin’s natural protective properties.
How to use: Tangerine essential oil can be used in its pure form or mixed with other essential oils (juniper, cypress, lavender, mint, elemi, neroli, citrus).
Skin care. Enriching cosmetic products (shampoos, creams, etc.): 5-8 drops of oil (or oil blend) per 15 g of base (1-2 tbsp).
Anti-wrinkle massage oil: mix 25 ml avocado oil, 25 ml jojoba oil, 25 ml wheat germ oil, 10 drops of frankincense, 10 drops of tangerine, 10 drops of neroli.
Massage. Mix 6-7 drops of oil (or oil blend) with 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (jojoba, wheat germ, grape seed, etc.). Enhances body firmness and optimizes blood circulation in tissues. When combined with avocado oil, it prevents skin stretch marks during pregnancy or changes in body size.
For cellulite reduction: mix 100 ml jojoba oil with 10 drops of juniper, 10 drops of rosemary, 10 drops of geranium, 10 drops of tangerine, and 5 drops of cypress. Use this massage oil on targeted areas with a sponge, brush, or massage glove.
Inhalations and room aromatization. Helps eliminate asthenic-depressive states and pregnancy-related toxemia. Boosts resistance and protective properties of the body. Ensures a great well-being in the absence of sunlight, stimulates vitamin absorption.
Aroma diffusers: add 3-5 drops of oil per 15 sq. m. into an aroma lamp filled with water and light a candle.
Aromatherapy lockets: 2-3 drops.
Baths: mix 3-5 drops of oil (or oil blend) with 30-60 g of emulsifier (salt, baking soda, honey, bath foam, cream, bran, etc.) and add to the filled bathtub.
Detox bath: 3 drops of juniper, 3 drops of geranium, 3 drops of tangerine, 1 drop of sandalwood.
Anti-cellulite bath: 5 drops of tangerine, 3 drops of juniper, 2 drops of cypress.
Gum applications: 5 drops of tangerine + 10 g of wheat germ oil.
