Anhydrous Lanolin Esent

Lanolin is an animal-derived wax (raw material) obtained through the process of purifying sheep's wool. Lanolin undergoes a dehydration process (hence its anhydrous name). At 20°C (68°F), lanolin is a thick, creamy substance.
Lanolin does not dissolve in water in the traditional sense of the word, but it can absorb water (along with the active ingredients dissolved in it) up to 200% of its mass, forming emulsions. It dissolves well in fats.
Lanolin has the ability to penetrate deeply into the skin. It creates a thin oily film on the surface, protecting the skin from adverse external conditions (dry air, frost, etc.), softening the skin, and smoothing it out. Thanks to its ability to combine with fats and water, it is a natural emulsifier.
