The essential oil has a light yellow or greenish hue, featuring a balsamic scent with a hint of lemon. It boasts a wide range of effects, including antidepressant, antiseptic, sedative, relaxing, anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, wound-healing, anti-allergic, immunomodulating, anticonvulsant, astringent, and softening properties.
Frankincense oil has a positive impact on the respiratory system, soothing coughs, reducing shortness of breath, and aiding in asthma management. It improves digestion, optimizes the body's lymphatic drainage, alleviates menstrual pain, and tones the uterus, as well as helps in overcoming postpartum depression.
How to use:
For massage and reflexology of specific points, a fatty solution is used: 5 drops of frankincense oil per 10 ml of almond or other vegetable oil.
For inhalations, 3 drops of frankincense oil are added to the inhaler, with the procedure lasting 3-7 minutes.
4-6 drops are added to an aroma lamp.
To enrich creams, tonics, shampoos, and shower gels, 4 drops of oil are added to 5 ml of the base.
For a bath — 3 - 6 drops of oil, previously mixed with an emulsifier (1/4 cup of milk, whey, honey solution, sea or kitchen salt).
