The Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le Toit Eau de Toilette bottle continues the renowned collection dedicated to the gardens of the world. Unlike previous fragrances, which were inspired by a more generalized location on the map, this scent was created under the impression of a very specific garden. Atop the central office of Hermes in Paris, there's a small garden where the company's lead perfumer, Jean-Claude Ellena, often took his walks. He was inspired by this haven of tranquility and pristine nature amidst the bustling metropolis and created a fragrance that captures this atmosphere, inviting one to pause, listen to their natural instincts, and foster a love for life. The light and playful perfume charms with its subtleness and softness, maintaining its presence throughout the day.
The base of the Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le Toit fragrance is entirely made up of the natural bed for all living things—grass. Resting comfortably on this soft foundation are the "heart" notes of red apple, ripe pear, and divine rose. The composition is completed with the spicy undertones of magnolia and rosemary.
TESTER - A tester is a demonstration version of the fragrance that manufacturers include with a batch of products for promotional purposes at the point of sale. Please note that there are no differences (such as the quality of the fragrance, longevity, etc.) between the tester and the retail version! The difference between them is merely that since testers are produced for promotional reasons, the manufacturer does not pay as much attention to their packaging: they are offered in what is known as technical packaging (a simple cardboard box, different from that used for retail bottles) and often do not include a cap. This contributes to the lower price of testers.
