TESTER - A tester is a demonstration version of the fragrance provided by manufacturers with a batch of products for advertising purposes at the point of sale. Please note that there are no differences (in terms of fragrance quality, durability, etc.) between the tester and the retail version! The difference between them is that since testers are produced for advertising purposes, the manufacturer does not pay as much attention to their packaging: they are offered in so-called technical packaging (a simple cardboard box, different from the one used for retail bottles) and often do not include a cap. This results in the lower price of testers.
