TESTER - A tester is a demonstration version of the fragrance provided by the manufacturers along with the product batch for promotional purposes at the point of sale. Please note that there are no differences (aroma quality, durability, etc.) between a tester and the retail version! The only difference lies in their presentation; since testers are produced for promotional purposes, the manufacturing company does not pay as much attention to their packaging: they are offered in what is known as technical packaging (a simple cardboard box different from the one used for retail bottles) and often do not come with a cap.
