The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2% Lactic Acid Peeling

This peeling gently removes dead skin cells along with excess oil, thus preventing the clogging of pores and inhibiting inflammatory processes.

Lactic Acid 10% + HA is a peel containing lactic acid (10%) and hyaluronic acid (2%) designed for a gentle skin surface exfoliation. Lactic acid belongs to the AHA acids, making it suitable for chemical peeling. When combined with Tasmanian pepperberry extract, lactic acid reduces inflammation and skin sensitivity, which may occur after peeling. This peeling solution has a pH level of 3.8, which is almost identical to the pKa value (a measure of acid strength) of lactic acid. Such a balance is ideal for maximizing the effectiveness of the peel while minimizing skin irritation.

Directions for use: Apply once a day, ideally in the evening. It can be diluted with other light serums or water until the skin acclimatizes. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. (This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn.
