Thoroughly rinse the sponge before using it for the first time. Before each subsequent application of foundation or any cream-based product, thoroughly wet the sponge under warm running water. Do not seal the damp sponge in containers, drawers, bags, etc. Ensure the sponge has direct air access while drying. You can disinfect the sponge with disinfectant solutions. It is recommended to replace the sponge every 6 months at most.
