The renowned Italian brand Bois 1920 was established by the talented Galardi family from Florence. The brand's founder, Guido Galardi, developed a perfumery formula with notes of lavender, which continues to be a part of all the brand's fragrances to this day. Since 1985, Guido's grandson, the celebrated perfumer Enzo Galardi, has continued the traditions of the fashionable Bois perfumery house. The perfumery masterpieces he creates are imbued with legend, sensuality, and aristocracy.
The Bois 1920 Classic 1920 fragrance was launched in 2005. Like most of the Galardi house's perfumery works, this fragrance is unisex. Its composition opens with top notes of bergamot, nutmeg, lemon, Tuscan basil, Japanese juniper, and paprika. The "heart" notes feature floral and fruity motifs: Nepalese rose, aromatic jasmine, osmanthus, Calabrian cedar, apricot, and Bulgarian lavender. The compositional pyramid is completed with a base note accord of amber, Egyptian vetiver, musk, sandalwood, tobacco, and caraway.
