The "Sukhokrem" cream-balm is used as an adjunct in a comprehensive treatment and prevention protocol for diaper dermatitis, eczema, bedsores, acne, first and second-degree thermal burns, superficial injuries, mild frostbite, and sunburns.
Zinc oxide, the main ingredient of the product, possesses anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, drying, adsorbing, and astringent properties. Its application on affected skin reduces exudation and inflammation of adjacent tissues. Zinc oxide, along with the water-repellent base of the cream-balm, further protects by forming a barrier against irritants, such as urine and feces.
Benzyl benzoate has an antiseptic effect, promotes skin regeneration, and enhances the restoration of the epithelium.
Benzyl alcohol provides local anesthetic action with disinfecting properties.
Benzyl cinnamate has antibacterial and antifungal effects.
Lanolin has a soothing and softening effect on the skin.
