Lamellar emulsion is a new type of product for problematic skin, replacing the once so beloved shake lotions. Offering the same, and sometimes even more pronounced effects, lamellar emulsion lacks all the drawbacks of shake lotions: poor absorption and low biological activity of sulfur.
The "Sulfur & Salicylic Acid & Zinc" emulsion is designed for the care of oily and problematic skin in cases such as: blackheads (open comedones) and closed comedones, papular form of acne, adolescent acne, seborrhea, and combination skin.The emulsion has a lamellar structure — the best form for delivering beneficial actives. The oils included in the composition are rich in linoleic and γ-linolenic ω-6 fatty acids. These fatty acids, lacking in oily skin, also reduce the activity of the sebaceous glands. Saw palmetto and zinc suppress the activity of 5α-reductase, which converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone — the main culprit behind increased sebocyte activity. The complex of moisturizers quickly saturates the skin with moisture and provides its owner with pleasant comfort. Vitamin B6 and niacinamide soothe the skin and have a seboregulating effect.
