HOW THE TEST WORKS:

During pregnancy, a woman's body produces the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), which can be detected in urine. The pregnancy test contains antibodies that specifically react with this hormone. When a urine sample is applied to the test, it moves along the membrane by capillary action. If hCG present in the urine reaches the test region (T), it forms a colored line. The absence of a colored line indicates a negative result. For control purposes, a colored line will appear in the control region (C) if the test is performed properly.

TEST KIT CONTENTS

The individual package contains 1 test strip and a desiccant. The desiccant is for storage purposes only and is not used for testing.

What else is needed for pregnancy determination? When using the test strip: a dry, clean plastic or glass container for urine collection. A timer or clock.

When to conduct the test? The test can be conducted at any time of the day, however, it is best to perform the test in the morning after waking up, as the highest concentration of the hCG hormone during significant pregnancy terms is found in the morning urine sample.
