This product acts as an anti-inflammatory and expectorant. It is indispensable during the period of seasonal viral infection risks as both a preventive measure and an adjunct treatment. Spruce essential oil can be used for inhalations, as a massage oil, or in baths. The oil is calming, reduces swelling, aids in the healing of minor wounds and irritations.
The oil can also serve as a diuretic, cholagogue, and lipotropic agent. It is one of the most potent active components among bactericidal, antiseptic, and antiviral medications. Moreover, spruce needle essential oil is a powerful antioxidant. It helps the body recover more quickly from exhausting illnesses, enhances its resistance to infections and disease pathogens.
Effects: anti-inflammatory, expectorant, calming, adaptogenic, cholagogue, diuretic, anti-edema, wound-healing, lipotropic, strong bactericidal (especially against staphylococci), antifungal (against candida), antiviral, antiseptic, powerful antioxidant.
How to use:
- For aroma massage, add 3-6 drops of spruce essential oil to 15 ml of base oil.
- To enrich creams, tonics, gels — 4-6 drops per 15 g of base.
- Add 3-7 drops of pure oil or 10—15 drops of its alcohol solution (10 drops of oil per 10 ml of 90% ethyl alcohol) to an aroma lamp.
- For hot inhalations, use 2—3 drops of oil.
- For baths — 4—7 drops, previously diluted in ¼ cup of emulsifier (milk, cream, whey, solutions of honey or salt).
