Turpentine baths are a common method of balneotherapy. Their effectiveness has been proven by scientific research. A small concentration of turpentine (extracted from pine resin) can stimulate blood circulation and regeneration of the body's structures. Thus, it provides a comprehensive effect on the health of the skin, tissues, and internal organs.
The "Yellow Solution" turpentine baths, according to A.S. Zalmanov's recipe from the "Dr. Pirogov Laboratory" brand, open pores and activate the body's natural protective functions, and oxygenate the cells. Blood circulation is stimulated even in the smallest capillaries. It addresses the cause, not just the symptoms of ailments. This type of therapy eliminates cramps, arterial insufficiency, loss of elasticity, and skin outbreaks. The processes of regeneration speed up, metabolism is normalized, the level of subcutaneous fat is regulated, and toxins are eliminated. Consult a specialist, as this remedy has a number of contraindications, and allergic reactions are possible.
How to use: Turpentine baths should be taken in a course of 10-12, or more as prescribed by a doctor. Baths can be taken daily, every other day, two days in a row with a break on the third day. To take the baths, you need to have a water thermometer, a clock, a plastic measuring cup to measure the amount of the yellow solution, preferably a sphygmomanometer to measure blood pressure, and medical vaseline. Additionally, prepare a robe or a large terry sheet. Take precautions to avoid getting the yellow solution in your eyes and on the most sensitive parts of the body. Keep turpentine emulsions out of reach of children.
The amount of yellow solution per bath gradually increases from 10-15 ml to 35-60 ml as recommended by a doctor for a specific person. The bath temperature should be 36-37°C. The duration of the bath is 10-15 minutes, starting from 5 minutes and gradually increasing the time by 1-2 minutes, depending on tolerance.
For people with very sensitive skin, it is permissible to apply a small amount of medical vaseline to certain areas of the body (genitals and anal area, behind the knees, inner surfaces of the elbow folds, armpits, and groin areas).
