  • Exclusively natural, ozokerite, sourced from the Dr. Pirogov Laboratory brand, is mined from the Carpathian mountain rocks and used for thermal therapy. This is a natural petroleum derivative with a characteristic structure similar to paraffin. The therapeutic properties of this substance are characterized by a high hydrocarbon saturation and a high melting temperature. When heated, ozokerite becomes warm and gently affects the tissues, joints, soothes the nervous system, alleviates pain, and improves blood circulation.

The most common indication for applying ozokerite applications is diseases of the musculoskeletal system (arthritis, radiculitis, etc.), and rehabilitation after injuries. It is recommended to combine with other treatment components, such as physiotherapy, therapeutic exercise, massage, electrophoresis, and mineral baths.

Method of application: Brush application (melted ozokerite at 55-60°C is applied to the skin with a brush); Napkin application (a gauze/bandage folded into 8-10 layers is dipped in melted ozokerite at 55-60°C, squeezed, and applied to the affected area, covered with a plastic sheet, and then a blanket); Cuvette application (melted ozokerite is poured into cuvettes, then the solidified ozokerite at 45-50°C is removed from the cuvette onto a plastic sheet and together with it applied to the areas to be treated).
The procedures are carried out daily or every other day, the duration of the procedure is from 15 to 30 minutes, the course is 10-20 procedures. It is recommended to rest for 30-40 minutes after the procedure.

    Contraindications:
Ozokerite applications are contraindicated in general contraindications to heat procedures, pregnancy, sensitivity to the components of the substance.
