The Alchemist's Garden, Gucci's inaugural line of niche fragrances, is imbued with its magical power in an imagined laboratory filled with enchanted vessels and captivating scents. This new customizable collection from one of the most renowned contemporary perfumers, Alberto Morillas, under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele, includes eau de toilette, perfumed oils, and blends named acqua profumata ("scented water"). The creation of this collection was inspired by the art of alchemy and perfumery, and the entwined notes in its bouquet allow for the crafting of unique individual combinations. At the heart of the composition of each fragrance is a hero ingredient associated with the fashion house's signature symbols; the roles of the components can be altered, making their presence more intense or, conversely, more subdued, as well as combining them with other luxury collection fragrances to create a unique trail.

The specially created bottles for this collection are made of ivory-colored glass, lacquered to resemble porcelain, reminiscent of the first perfume vessels that apothecaries in ancient times would place on wooden shelves.
