Gucci 1921 Eau de Parfum

In celebration of Gucci's centenary, the luxury collection The Alchemist’s Garden has been enriched with a new fragrance named "1921," launched in 2021. At the heart of the fragrance's composition is the neroli flower. As a tribute to the House's heritage, the fragrance also features Florentine citron, a nod to Florence, the city where the House of Gucci was founded.

The customizable collection, crafted by skilled perfumer Alberto Morillas under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele, includes eau de parfum, perfumed oils, and scented waters ("acque profumate"). Inspired by the art of alchemy and perfumery, the collection’s fragrances can be mixed to create unique combinations. The intensity of each fragrance, based on an ingredient associated with the House's symbols, can be enhanced, muted, or combined with other scents from the line to create a unique blend.

The neroli flower, appreciated for its sweet floral scent, embodies both richness and elegance. It combines the refined intensity of its fragrance with a fresh note of greenery.

The green note of the neroli flower pairs beautifully with the sparkling freshness of the Florentine citron, which has a richer fresh and floral scent compared to the lemon.

Inspired by bottles found on the wooden shelves of vintage apothecaries, the first perfume flacons, and whimsical apothecary jars, the bottle's transparent green glass harks back to one of the House's signature colors.
