Le Galion Special for Gentlemen Eau de Parfum, crafted by perfumer Thomas Fontaine, is a distinctive continuation of the eponymous scent created by Paul Vacher, which first emerged in the distant year of 1947. That was the same year Miss Dior was created for Christina Dior. Both creations shared a common vision—to craft a fragrance that epitomizes the essence of a gentleman, combining masculine features, confidence, and a touch of gentleness.

The composition of Special for Gentlemen is an invisible, yet noticeably significant accessory for a man. It unfolds with citrusy notes of bergamot and lemon. Following these are the discernible notes of herbaceous lavender and green galbanum with hints of wood. Cinnamon, combined with the warm mineral scent of amber, labdanum, and patchouli, forms the heart of the fragrance composition. To create the base, the perfumer blended notes of oakmoss, sweet and warm vanilla, castoreum reminiscent of leather, and sweet opoponax with powdery and resinous undertones.
