Clove bud essential oil from Etheri is a 100% natural, high-quality oil produced through the steam distillation of undeveloped flower buds of Eugenia Caryophyllus.
It is characterized by a warm, spicy aroma typical of cloves. The oil is extracted from pink-red long buds that form at the beginning of the rainy season in Indonesia. It should not be confused with clove leaf oil, which is produced from the same tree. Harvesting the buds is very labor-intensive and cannot be mechanized, as the tree branches are beaten by hand to separate the buds from the rest.
The main components of the oil are eugenol and aceteugenol.
