Apply eye makeup (eyeshadow and mascara). "Fit" the false eyelashes to your eye length, and trim any excess with scissors if necessary. Warm the lashes by holding them in your cupped hands, apply adhesive to the bands, and wait for 30 seconds. Begin attaching the lashes from the outer corner of the eye, pressing them for another 30 seconds to ensure they adhere securely to the eyelid.
