The dietary supplement Vitamin D3 is produced from the highest quality raw materials. Vitamin D3 is derived from lanolin found in sheep's wool. A dose of 2000 IU of Vitamin D3 in one recommended serving of the supplement compensates for the deficiency of the vitamin that is not obtained in sufficient quantities from food.
Since Vitamin D3 is fat-soluble, remember that it should be consumed with fat, for example, during a meal that contains fats (especially omega-3), or after taking the supplement, consume, for instance, flaxseed oil or another oil rich in unsaturated fatty acids.
